M35 & NGC2158 Open Clusters

GSO 8″ Richey-Chretien Optical tube, Skywatcher NEQ6 pro mount,Atik 383L+ camera, motorised filter wheel and Astronomik filters.

Two star clusters close together in the constellation of Gemini.

Captured alot of detail on the dim star cluster NGC2158 in the lower left hand corner.

Spent 10 minutes making sure these clusters were nicely framed before starting the imaging run.

LRGB image with 2 hours 27 minutes of data and 2.5 minute sub frames. 29 x 2.5min Lum, 10 x 2.5min Red, 10 x 2.5min green & 10 x 2.5min blue.
