M42/M43

Please find my image of M42/M43 attached. This was taken from near Wigtown, in Dumfries and Galloway, over two nights (27th and 28th February 2017) with my Skywatcher ED120 (with reducer/flattener), on an NEQ6 Pro using a modded Canon 1000D. It’s comprised of thirteen 600 second exposures, plus 25 exposures at 60 seconds, as well as 27 times 8 second exposures, in order to capture the trapezium.
It is the first image from my newly completed observatory. I am hoping to compete, one day, with my brother, Ian Dunbar, whose images have graced your magazine’s pages on a number of occasions.
