Messier M78 is a large reflection nebula 1,600 light years away in Orion. The two 10th magnitude stars near the center illuminate the dust.

Luminance – 24x600s – 240 minutes – binned 1×1
RGB – 8x300s – 40 minutes each – binned 2×2

360 minutes total exposure – 6 hours
