Mercury Transit draws to a close

As the transit drew to a close I managed to capture this image of the sunspot and Mercury along with the airliner crossing the face of the sun. It’s one of those images I have had in my head for a long time and (as they say) the “stars aligned” for once :-) For me it gives a different perspective to the transit and is even more gratifying as I’ve been unable to look through a scope for months due to injury. This was my first venture out for quite some time!
