Messier 63 – The Sunflower Galaxy

I took the image with an Orion Optics VX10, mounted on a Skywatcher
AZ-EQ6-GT, the image was acquired with an Atik 314L+ camera and Baader
RGB filters. It’s comprised of five hours of 300s subs, one hour each
for the Luminance, Ha, Red, Green and Blue channels.

I’m fascinated with the number of ‘faint fuzzy’ galaxies in the
background and the more I look it seems the more I see.
