Canon M5, with 15mm-45mm lens at 15mm
This was taken at the beginning of October at The Angel Of The North, the Anthony Gormley statue just South of Newcastle. I managed to place the setting Moon over the shoulder of the Angel.
Exposure was quite tricky as I wanted to try and get some detail in the foreground below the Angel, not totally blow out the moon, but still get the stars visible.
The exposure time was 25 seconds, there is slight trailing on the stars, I could probably have been better at 20 seconds, but I’m still very pleased with the result.
It’s interesting that the Angel appears to be wearing a pair of furry boots, but this is, in fact a tree in the foreground.
