This is my photo of the Pinwheel Galaxy M101 in LRGB
One of the big challenge when doing astrophotography from a light polluted area is taking LRGB photos, but after many hours of work I’m very happy with the outcome.
I photo during the first 2 weeks of June 2016. It’s a beautiful galaxy in Ursa Major…right next to the handle.
The galaxy is about 21 light years away and it is 170,000 LY in diameter. It estimate with 1 Trillion stars (Wikipedia).
