NGC 7000 North American Nebula

Mark Griffith

Swindon, Wiltshire. UK

Skywatcher NEQ6 pro mount & Equinox 80mm refractor, Atik 383L+ camera, motorised filter wheel and Astronomik Ha LRGB filter set.

Nice bright object that looked good in my 2 x 1.5 degrees field of view.

HaRGB image with 5 hours of data collected over two nights.

Kept the ha exposures at 10 minutes and 2×2 binning to reveal as much detail as possible.

Crystal clear night. I reckon the earlier wind and rainy weather cleared out Swindon’s car smog.

Plenty of good imaging nights in the last month. So overloaded with images.
