Bright emission nebula in the northern reaches of the constellation Orion.

Overlooked nebula with many more famous objects near buy.

Strong in the oxygen and sulphur component so an excellent target for a hubble palette image.

Cold weather with very clear nights. Bad for heating bills good for astronomy.

Kept my mono camera unbinned for a high resolution image with as much detail as possible.

Data collected on three nights. 11th, 28th, 29th November 2016.

Sii/ha/oiii image with 13 hours 30 mins of data. 12 x 25min Sii, 13 x 15min Ha, 12 x 25min Oiii 1×1 binning.
