RUPES ALTAI
Rupes Altai is a scarp on the lunar surface, named after the Altai mountains in Asia.
ESCARPA = Manifestations on the surface of contractional tensions are often observed on the Moon. Sometimes fold chains, from a few tens of meters to many hundreds of kilometers.
Rupes Altai has a length of about 427 km.
Behind Quickmap I made an estimate of the height of the highest regions, reaching 4077 meters (enlarge the image well, the data is in the lower corner).
