Canon 600D, 18-55mm lens, Star Adventurer mount.
The crescent Moon and planet Venus are always beautiful in the sky alone but when together they form a sight that is simply stunning. I captured this moment on the evening of 22 April at around 10pm. I used a Canon 600D with the 18-55mm kit lens at f/14 on a Star Adventurer mount. The exposure time was 30 seconds at ISO800. This set up resulted in a pleasing starburst effect on Venus and the Moon. The earthshine portion of the Moon was also enhanced with this exposure, with some fortuitous passing cloud lending a pleasing misty aspect to the Moon.
