‘The Golf Ball’ is a radar station sitting on top of the second highest peak of the Pennines. In the adjacent Eden Valley the radar station appears as a tiny golf ball sat on the mountain. I think framing the station up close with the looming Milky Way reflects the mystery and awe I would feel when looking at The Golf Ball in the distance.
