Nikon P900 bridge camera
my image of the moon taken with my Nikon P900 bridge camera, which has an amazing 2000mm maximum focal length. The camera even has a ‘moon’ setting as one of the pre-set ‘scenes’.
This was a hand-held shot, and was reasonably sharp, but after reading the article on the Photoshop high-pass filter sharpening technique mentioned in the November issue, I used the technique to great effect.
It is even possible to make out the Halley and associated craters described in the December issue.
