Orion Skyscape “The Space Walk”
This is an 8 panel mosaic depicting Orion. This image is the culmination of my R,G,B,L, Ha Orion mosaic for 2016. The data used to create this amateur image was produced over a period of two months from my home observatory in Valencia. The Orion Nebula is a diffuse nebula situated in our home galaxy the Milky Way, being south of Orion’s Belt in the constellation of Orion. It is one of the brightest nebulae, and is visible to the naked eye in the night sky.
Distance to Earth: 1,344 light years. This image take you 70 light hours closer to Orion.
