Bright Ionisation front in the constellation Cygnus. One of my favourite nebula to image.

concentrating on one object this month. To get the best possible result. Used long exposures, hubble palette and twelve hours of data to achieve this.

Rotated by camera ninety degrees to frame all of the wall.

Reduced star size my five pixels, in post processing, so they didn’t overpower the faint detail of the nebula.

Used coordinates of RA 20 deg h 59 min and Dec 43 deg 37 min in my hand controller to find this object.

Short nights with the sky dark enough for only three hours of imaging.

Data collected on six nights. 24th June 2016. 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 13th July 2016.

Sii/ha/oiii image with 12 hours and 30 minutes of data. 16 x 15min Sii, 21 x 10min Ha, 15 x 20min Oiii 1×1 binning.
