Travelled 60 miles to where I believed the weather maybe favourable for a once in a lifetime chance to view the 2012 transit of Venus. Conditions proved not to be favourable with heavy cloud cover on the NE horizon. However, the clouds began to disperse to allow views between the 3rd & 4th contact. Magic!
I like the image for it’s atmospheric feel even though I was able to capture clearer views of the solar disc closer to 4th contact.
