Taken from my back garden the Veil Nebula is my first attempt at narrowband imaging. I decided narrowband was the way to beat the chronic light pollution in my area, it seems to have worked. The Veil is stunning and only this imaging technique has allowed me to produced an acceptable result. Imaged by mapping OIII, HA & SII to RGB. Each channel comprised of six 1200s images, a total of six hours of data plus calibration data. Target captured the 28th September 2011.
