Historic archive NASA images from 1961-1972 are up for auction at Swann Auction Galleries.

The collection features iconic scenes from the Mercury, Gemini and Apollo missions and is expected to fetch up to $12,000 (£8,460) when it goes up for auction on 19 April.

The images feature iconic scenes from just over a decade of manned missions, including launches, spacewalks, Earthrises, rendezvous and the far side and the surface of the Moon.

Below is a selection of some of the images up for sale on 19 April 2018.
