The Royal Observatory Greenwich has released a selection of shortlisted images from this year’s Astronomy Photographer of the Year competition, run in association with BBC Sky at Night Magazine.
The awards will be announced on 17 September 2014 with an exhibition of the winning images opening the following day at the Observatory.
