This torch has two pairs of LEDs: one gives out a white light, the other red.

You select them using a small switch and the whole thing is turned on using a rotary switch that also varies the brightness.

The red light is suitably dim and the white light is bright enough to avoid tripping over things. It’s nicely constructed, but changing the batteries requires tools.
