From March 11 till 15th I went on a trip to Abisko National Park in Sweden with two other friends to view the Aurora Borealis. We stayed there for 5 days and 4 nights. We had nice weather with some clouds but that did not interfere to much. We could see Aurora Borealis every night in all its beauty (curtains, arcs, rays, bands and even coronae). The temperatures were very low -20 C but my cameras a Canon 350D and Canon 450D with power packs lasted for at least 5 hours a night. Most of the Aurora was a green color but on the first night we could also see some red, which made a nice contrast with the milky way in the background.
