Emission nebula in the constellation of Auriga.

Stella winds from young stars sculpt the gas and dust into the tadpole shapes in the upper right of the image.

Hubble palette false colour image that shows much better detail than last year’s bicolour attempt.

Open star cluster NGC 1893 near the centre with a size of 11 arc minutes.

This cluster helped with the framing and made it easy to get the telescope in the same position on different nights.

Concentrating on closeup shots with my 11 inch telescope this year. Too many high class wide field and mid field astrophograhers so trying to be different from the competition.

Cutting down the number of objects I image to two a month. So I collect more data for each object and hopefully have better images.

Data from four nights. 29th November & 13th December & 19th December 2014 & 10th January 2015.

Sii Ha Oii image with 8 hours and 42 minutes of data. 24 x Sii 7.5 min, 34 x Ha 5 min, 23 x Oii 7.5 minute. 2×2 binning.
