Emission nebula in the constellation of Auriga.

Stella winds from young stars sculpt the gas and dust into the tadpole shapes in the upper right of the image.

Open star cluster NGC 1893 near the centre with a size of 11 arc minutes.

This cluster helped with the framing and made it easy to get the telescope in the same position on different nights.

Bright nebula so six hours of data was enough for a good image. Just as well with the recent run of poor weather.

Data collected on three nights. 12th, 14th, 25th October.

Sii/ha/oiii image with 6 hours 40 minutes of data. 9 x 15min Sii, 13 x 10min Ha, 9 x 15min Oiii 1×1 binning.
