Emission nebula in the constellation Serpens. The star cluster 6611, located at 10 O’clock in my image, is causing the gas clouds to shine.
Low altitude object so I can only get one hour of data per imaging session.
Bright so I was able use shorter exposures than normal. Used 2×2 binning to reduce exposure times even further.
I was only planning to do a bicolour image. I was suprised by the strength of the oxygen data so collected some sulphur data for a hubble platte image.
sii/ha/oiii image 1 hour 55 minutes of data. 16 x 150 seconds sii, 20 x ha 75 seconds, 20 x 150 seconds oiii 2×2 binned.
