Emission nebula in the constellation Serpens. The star cluster 6611, located at 11 O’clock in my image, is causing the gas clouds to shine.

Tricky low altitude object.

It has a large oxygen and sulphur compoment so an excellent choice for a hubble palette image.

Bright nebula so two hours of data was enough for a nice image.

Data collected on one night. 19th June 2017.

Sii/ha/oiii image with 11 hours 45 mins of data. 6 x 7.5min Ha 1×1 binning, 5 x 7.5min Sii 2×2 binning, 5 x 7.5min Oiii 2×2 binning.
