IC1318 Butterfly Nebula

Telescope service 8″ Boren simon power newtonian, Skywatcher NEQ6 pro mount,Atik 383L+ camera, motorised filter wheel and Astronomik filters.

Bright emission nebula in the constellation Cygnus.

Magnitude 2 star Gamma Cygni, Sadr on the left so easy nebula to find. Open cluster NGC 6810 at the top left.

Shorts nights this month with less than 4 hours imaging time possible.

Using my new F2.8 optical tube. Fast F2.8 optics really helps.

Data collected on 2 nights. 19th and 20th of June.

Ha/oiii/oiii image with 4 hours and 5 minutes of data. 25 x 5min Ha & 24 x 5min oiii unbinned.
