Supernova remnant in the constellation of Gemini.

Rotated my camera ninety degrees framing this nebula nicely with my forty minute field of view.

Trying to capture as much faint detail as possible. So increased sub exposure times to fifthteen minutes and set my mono camera to

USed the Hubble palette image and an unsharp mask to highlight the filament detail further.

First time I’ve tried imaging this object and it worked out well.

Data collected on three nights. 28th February & 5th, 7th March 2016.

Sii/ha/oiii image with 7 hours 45 minutes of data. 9 x 15min Sii, 12 x 15min Ha, 10 x 15min Oiii 2×2 binning.
