Globular Cluster in the constellation of Hercules. Big and bright so easy to image.

Contains more than 100,000 stars in 145 light years of space.

Trying out some new globular cluster processing ideas.

Created two images. One not scretched for the core and the other very scretched to revel the fainter stars. Then combined them in a Photoshop layer mask.

LRGB image with 7 hours and 10 minutes of data. 86 x Lum 29 x Red 29 x Green 28 x Blue 2.5 minute exposures.
