Planetary nebula in the constellation Ursa Major. Dying star blowing off shells of Gas.

Haven’t imaged a planetary nebula for 10 months so about time I gave one a go.

Dim 9.9 magnitude object. Tricky to produce a high resolution image. Only data collection near the merdian and on a night of clear seeing was any good.

Data I collected on two previous nights was too faint with no detail.

LRGB image with 2 hours and 40 minutes of data. 17 x Lum 5 x Red 5 x Green 5 x Blue 5 minute exposures.
