Bright emission nebula in the northern reaches of the constellation Orion.
Strong in the oxygen and sulphur component so an excellent target for a hubble palette image.
Lots of stormy weather this month with limited clear nights. So trying objects I’ve imaged before but with longer exposures this time.
Kept my mono camera unbinned for a high resolution image with as much detail as possible.
Data collected on 2 nights. 8th & 20th December.
