Constellation of cygnus starting to get well placed for imaging this month.
Cygnus is chock full of interesting bright nebula suitable for narrowband imaging.
Starting off with one of my favourites the cresent nebula. Trying to capture more of the faint oxygen shell this time.
Increased oxygen exposure to 25 minutes. My mount had my problems coping with this. Also boosted green and blue channels in Photoshop with a curve adjustment.
Data collected on three nights. 10th & 12th & 16th April 2016.
ha/oiii/oiii image with 7 hours 10 minutes of data. 12 x 15min Ha, 10 x 25min Oiii 1×1 binning.
