Super Prominence

Lunt 35mm Ha Telescope, Skywatcher NEQ6 pro mount, 2x barlow and DMK41 mono camera.

Not much activity on the sun’s disk today. Just one sunpot.

Very large prominence more than made up for this. Visible for over 2 hours before the clouds got in the way.

Collage of four images taken on sunday. Images taken 10:21 (Top left), 11:35 (top right), 12:11 (bottom left) & 12:21 (bottom right).

Patially cloudy this morning, but enough breaks in the clouds, to take 30 second movies.

30 seconds at 1/11 second for prominences.
