Galaxy 30 million light years away in the constellation Andromeda.

Good visual observing object that looks good in an eyepiece, even from my light polluted back garden.

Removed the focal reducer and kept the telescope at F8 to capture a detailed high resolution image.

Near the bright star Almach that I used to check the focus with a barthinov mask.

Data collected on 2 nights. 8th & 9th October.

LRGB image with 7 hours and 30 minutes of data. 31 x Lum 11 x Red 9 x Green 9 x Blue 7.5 minute exposures.
