Expanding shell of hydrogen gas. This nebula if being illuminated by a rare wolf-raynet star.
Trying a detailed image with my 11 inch scope. Pushing my setup to the limit with 10 minute exposures.
Multiple clear nights this week so able to capture over 10 hours of data. First time I’ve managed this.
Cygnus is my favourite constellation. Full of emission nebula suitable for narrowband imaging.
Data collected on three nights 11th, 13th & 14th April.
HA/OIII/OIII image with 10 hours and 40 minutes of data. 32 x 10min Ha & 32 x 10min Oiii at 2×2 binning.
