Closeup shot of this emission nebula in the constellation Cassiopeia.
Image centred on this bright area with ionisation fronts.
Fainter than I was expecting so went for 2×2 binning to improve the signal to noise ratio. A big advantage of using a mono camera.
Hydrogen Alpha data a bit noisy. I had the dew heater on the same power socket as the camera. It was taking too much power and stopping the camera from cooling.
Data collected on 4 nights. 18th, 19th, 21st & 22nd September.
Sii/ha/oiii image with 13 hours 10 minutes of data. 19 x 15min Sii, 25 x 10min Ha, 17 x 15min Oiii 2×2 binning.
