M106 Spiral Galaxy

Teleskop service 12″ Richey-Chretien telescope, Skywatcher EQ8 mount,Atik 383L+ camera, Astronomik LRGB filters,
Hutech IDAS light pollution filter, Astro physics 0.67 reducer.

Another large galaxy in Ursa Major.

Attempting to capture the faint outer areas. Increased exposures to ten minutes and used a focal reducer.

This helped to revel this faint detail.

Also captured a couple of other galaxies which adds extra interest to the image.

Data collected on two nights. 9th April & 12 April.

LRGB image with 6 hours and 10 minutes of data. 19 x Lum 6 x Red 6 x Green 6 x Blue 10 minutes exposures.
