My Saturn Close-ups, my best close-ups for the Season so far..B&W & in Color, barely fit in my FOV, but seeing was co-operating, so I cranked up to 5x Barlow.(F50) or (10,000mm)..taken from my backyard Observatory, C8 + QHY5IILCCD Camera, 5X Televue Barlow, 3000 frames RGB, Stacked in Registax6, Maxim DL Alignment, & Adobe CS for final.

I had slightly above average seeing…coming and going over a 2 hour period on 06-29-2016 from my backyard observatory, so I decided to crank up the power. It is pushing the limits with my old Orange tube C8, & QHYIIL CCD camera.

Saturn is 1.2billion km away…The distance to Saturn from our planet is constantly changing as both of the planets travel through space. When the two are closest, they lie approximately 753 million miles (1.2 billion kilometers) apart, or eight times the distance between the Earth and the sun, Currently Saturn is 853 million Miles from Earth in this image & Mars is much closer, Currently Mars is 53.5 million miles from Earth, but it also much smaller than Saturn, so that poses challenges in itself to show details too.
