Sharpless catalogue nebula in the constellation cepheus. This catalogues objects’ are overlooked and not imaged much.
Large oxygen and sulphur component so a good target for a hubble palette image. Fitted nicely in my 30 minute field of view.
Middle brightness nebula so increased exposure times to 10 minutes for hydrogen alpha and 15 minutes for oxygen and sulphur.
My new skywatcher EQ8 mount had no problems coping with 15 minute exposures.
Data collected on five nights. 13th, 16th, 20th, 21st, 26th May
Sii/ha/oiii image with 12 hours 25 minutes of data. 15 x 15min Sii, 25 x 10min Ha, 18 x 15min Oiii 2×2 binning.
