Mixed Spriral galaxy 12 million light years away in the constellation camelopardalis.

Large bright galaxy. High in sky this month where earth’s atmosphere is thin. So a good object to try an image.

My telescope picked up some red HII star forming regions.

Data collected on three nights. 30th, 31st March & 5th April.

LRGB image with 6 hours and 50 minutes of data. 21 x Lum 7 x Red 7 x Green 6 x Blue 10 minutes exposures.
