Summer Triangle Iridium Flare

Kielder Observatory

I took this picture at Kielder Observatory using a canon 600D (f3.5, ISO 800, 18mm focal length, 92 second exposure)

An Iridium flare that occurred in the Summer Triangle asterism on 26 July 2014. I used a long exposure to ensure I captured the whole flare. This did cause the stars to trail quite badly but also made the Milky Way brighter, so the effect is quite good overall. Post processing was done in Adobe Photoshop Elements.
